What does pay-as-you-go mean?
Cost details
For the Regular plan, the price displayed here only covers the basic resource usage for hosting a Gitea instance. Any additional resources used would add to this cost as shown in the following examples.
A lighter resource usage like solo dev on Godot will barely use any resource and therefore be quite cheap compared to a team testing their Unreal Engine game every hour of every day.
Additionnally, a one-time setup cost is also necessary to cover creating and populating the environment with the services needed, the domain name if you need one, etc.
Dedicated support is possible to expand services, develop a more complex pipeline or simply to take care of infrastructure maintenance, at a cost.
